- IHART mobile community resource unit will provide trauma-informed response and linkages for behavioral health and social service-related calls, thus reducing the role of police and improving outcomes for individuals experiencing mental health- and social services-related crises.
- Under the direct supervision of the IHART Program Manager, Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist BHS will be responsible for mental health and substance use assessment, wellness services, and crisis prevention.
- BHS will follow the principles of harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and recovery and wellness to engage clients in therapeutic interventions, link them with appropriate social and mental health services in addition to providing linkages to shelter, public benefits and other services to support them on their path to wellness.
- Provide services to address underlying mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and addiction within the context of a harm reduction approach and strengths-based client centered work.
