- Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forwardResponsibilities: Primary duties of a Civil/Structural Construction Inspector are to inspect heavy civil and structural steel construction work to ensure conformance with contract documents and all applicable codes and standards.
- Work includes preparation of daily narrative reports, contractor time and material records, review contractor’s request for additional compensation, preparation of descriptions/reasons/estimates for change orders, verification of work in place quantities for contractor payment applications, coordination of construction work with facility operations and other stakeholders and ensuring the safety and quality of the work.
- Knowledge of construction inspection of major transportation/infrastructure projects for public agencies, such as PANYNJ, MTA/NYCT, NJ Transit, NYCDDC, NYCSCA are required.
