- The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team and performs psychiatric evaluations, evaluation and management services, care coordination, assessments, consultations, medication management, and follow-up appointments for children and adolescents with a variety of mental and behavioral healthcare needs.
- Student loan forgiveness eligibility, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), HRSA, and more
- Recommend and encourage the use of increased prescriptions for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for tobacco, alcohol, and opioid use disorders when clinically appropriate
- Provide consultation by participating in case reviews, recommending appropriate treatment approaches, committees, grant submissions, peer reviews, advanced practice provider collaboration, supporting residents, fellows, and trainees, and contributing to the establishment of psychiatric programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain compliance with quality care initiatives including Meaningful Use (MU), Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirements
