- OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting the overall financial health of the Museum to the senior leadership and the board.
- Support the Director and the COO in the management of the museum’s two facilities as it relates to strategic planning, long-term capital budgeting and planning, and debt vs.
- Support the CPCO with the annual performance evaluation process and associated changes in status and pay rates (including promotions, merit and COLA, equity changes).
- EXPERIENCE: A minimum of ten years of broad-based finance experience as a Chief Financial Officer (or a closely related role), preferably at a nonprofit arts institution.
- Ideally, candidates will have an understanding of nonprofit and museum regulations and standards as it pertains to staff, art objects, and standards and practices (i.e. GAAP, Tax, AAM, and AAMD).
