They administer treatment and personal care procedures to patients including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, trimming fingernails, bed-making, and assisting with ambulation. They perform direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and procedures, observe and report changes in patient conditions, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
