- Underwrites credit exposure for the most complex and largest credit relationships and circumstances and actively manages a Middle Market Banking portfolio.
- Possesses a mastery of client and industry expertise, analyzes individual company performance and the impact of industry and competitive dynamics and macroeconomic events on the creditworthiness of clients and prospects.
- Portfolio Management: Accountable for and manages assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, proactively defining client credit solutions, identifying issues and following through for remediation.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Partner closely with peers to ensure effective delivery of complex financing solutions to CCB clients through industry specific lens; responsible for maintaining extensive level of knowledge of corporate banking, investment banking and commercial banking solutions, in addition to market trends and business drivers.
- Span of Control (include # direct reports): no direct reports, but encompasses regular communication with Clients and Prospects, Portfolio Management teammates, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk Managers, Credit Review partners, Technology, and other internal and external audit and examiner functions.
