- The Catering & Sales Assistant Manager will provide assistance to the sales team with administrative tasks, provide engaging customer service, and will consistently strive to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation of services and prices in the Hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
- They will target and win over business via outside sales calls, hosting site inspections, planner meetings, prospecting, emailing, networking, attending industry association events, etc.
- This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- In support of the property sales team the role will greet visitors, answer phone calls (to include customer and brand call center reservations as well as general hotel inquiries, intake and process incoming lead information, handle reservation requests, research group billing inquiries, gather data as needed, compile reports, maintain files and prepare correspondence;
