- The Catering Event Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Catering Sales Manager.
- The Catering Event Coordinator willfinalize wedding and social event business while maximizingthe event space and upselling food & beverage enhancements to meet/exceed sales goals.
- The Catering Event Coordinator musthave a thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the catering, food & beverage and hospitality professions; effective communication skills, ability to negotiate, influence and upsell professionals and/or prospective hotel guests.
- The Catering Event Coordinatorwill act as a liaison between the customer and Catering Sales Managerto provide direction and supervision during execution of wedding and social event banquet functions, directlyservingwedding and social eventcustomers in a proactive manner coordinating logistics, food and beverage, public meeting space, special client needs and billing processes.
