- Provides original and complex copy cataloging and metadata services for library materials to ensure discoverability and robust access to the items in the library's collections.
- Directs necessary database maintenance, resolves difficult cataloging problems, provides statistics, and performs related catalog-management activities to help ensure the library's records and those supplied by other vendors meet local and national standards.
- Staffs the Research Desk and teaches Research and Information literacy skills in the classroom and in one-on-one meetings as needed, modeling best practices from instructional design and the science of learning.
