If you do not currently work for SCDOT, what road maintenance and heavy equipment experience do you have? Coordinates the placement of traffic control devices to properly set up maintenance work zones according to the SCDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Manual and Field Guide to warn motorists of work and to control traffic.

University Park Airport has an opening in Airport Operations for one wage Maintenance Worker to work, as needed, for airfield snow removal operations. Previous experience working as a heavy equipment operator in an Airport Operations environment conducting snow removal operations is preferred.

The duties within the Roadside Environmental Unit may consist of but not limited to operating power tools such as chainsaw, weed eater, manual labor, seeding and mulching, plant bed maintenance, herbicide application and some snow and ice removal.
