- The Business Development Specialist is responsible for selling the Company’s products and services through building relationships with new and existing customers by telephone, email, and other electronic means.
- At times, the Business Development Specialist is responsible for gathering data and customer feedback from various sources, creating and distributing reports; and providing support to sales, marketing, and management to assist with decision making and creating efficiencies and delivering favorable profit margins.
- Increase sales through account penetration by analyzing current sales and volume, planning sales calls and following up.
- Utilize product knowledge, ROI and analytical research tools (i.e., Phocas and Peoplesoft) and sales training resources to effectively target new prospects and opportunities.
- Create and deliver presentations remotely when necessary to help secure new business.
