- In addition, this role will work with SDSU Foundation leadership to set the strategic direction for fundraising efforts and implement a comprehensive plan for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of mid- and major gifts.
- Monitor and promote the adoption and utilization of prospect development tools, practices, and resources to ensure fundraising efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Design and execute appropriate and effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to move assigned prospects through the gift cycle.
- Positively represent the SDSU Foundation to university partners and external stakeholders, ensuring the organization is viewed as a transparent, collaborative, and responsible partner able to professionally address both opportunities and concerns.
- At least seven years of professional experience in a related field (such as communications, sales, client relations, fundraising, higher education, or alumni relations) is required.
