- The College of Social Work is seeking an instructor to teach one to two courses in the BSW and MSW programs per semester.
- The courses taught in the BSW program range from Introduction to Social Work, Social Diversity, HBSE , Micro-Practice, Macro-Practice, Research and Evaluation , Applied Social Work Statistics, to Substance Use Counseling.
- The courses taught in the MSW program focus on clinical modalities ( DBT , CBT , ACT , etc), social problems (mental illness, addiction, trauma, etc), and specific populations (refugees and immigrants, children, older adults, etc).
- They range from required courses in Practice, HBSE , Macro, or DSM to more specialized electives.
- Most classes are campus-based classes held/conducted one day a week at the main University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City. Online classes are held/conducted/facilitated asynchronously throughout the week via the University of Utah online system (Canvas).
