Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the AGPA performs a variety of complex, technical, and varied analytical and evaluative work relating to the provisions of multiple Community Resiliency Grant Programs within Cal OES. The AGPA will function in a demanding and changing environment, which requires the AGPA to effectively maintain a routine workload and regularly respond to short-term tasks. The AGPA will review, analyze, process, and prepare responses to a variety of forms, documents, and correspondence pertaining to the specific Grant Programs. The AGPA is required to meet legal, regulatory, and internal deadlines on all assignments. In addition, the AGPA is responsible for formulating procedures, policies, and program alternatives, making recommendations on program-related issues, and advising management on the potential impact. Must be able to analyze situations and take effective action. The AGPA is required to travel throughout the state, and conduct presentations and/or site visits. The AGPA may be required to work overtime as necessary in support of Cal OES program objectives. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
