- Tasks may include conducting geophysical surveys, collecting environmental samples from various media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air/vapor), and conducting site exploration and geologic logging using a variety of drilling techniques.
- With minimal supervision, assist with collecting, extracting, identifying, and compiling environmental data from soil sampling, soil gas sampling, groundwater sampling, stormwater sampling, boring logs, and other matrices for projects, investigations, and surveys.
- Assist technical staff and project managers with environmental risk identification and assessment, offering input and analysis with low-level threat mitigation activities and remediation projects.
- Assist with work plan preparation and coordination of field work permitting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related discipline.
