- The Assistant General Counsel will report directly to the Deputy General Counsel and will provide general legal support to the department and the overall business.
- Manage internal licensing processes and procedures for liquor and tobacco licensing across multiple jurisdictions, including partnering with local licensing agencies and outside counsel, where necessary, to ensure compliance with state and local laws and ensuring timely completion of licensing activities
- Assist with management of pre-litigation and litigation matters, as well as other claims, including outside counsel coverage and management, where required, including alignment on case strategy, budget, and case resolution
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
- Minimum of 8 years of law firm and/or in-house counsel experience supporting operational functions and/or performing commercial transactional work and/or mergers and acquisitions work.
