- Responsible for conducting spiritual needs assessments and provides pastoral care and pastoral counseling for patients of all ages (neonate- geriatrics), families, and staff.
- Communicates at the direction of leadership with religious leaders and other professionals in the community in order to provide support and to coordinate ongoing pastoral care for patients and families.
- One (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, or equivalent training in pastoral care, or equivalent training in pastoral care.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a chaplain, church pastor, pastoral care-giver, or equivalent.
- Ability to relate well with clergy of other denominations, patients, administration, staff, and other members of the health care team.
