- This position will work in the Professional Services Group of the Facilities Management Division of Zion National Park, directly with Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Systems, Roadway), Landscape Architects, and Engineering Technicians as an Associate Project Manager.
- Regular interaction will take place with Journeyman level Electrician, Concrete, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, Irrigation, Trails, and Roadway technical experts.
- Monitoring a project's quality, scope, time, cost, resources, communications, risk, and integration across other projects parkwide
- The Intern's primary responsibility will be to complete at least 23 formal contact hours in project management in pursuit of meeting eligibility requirements to take the professional exam for the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
- Multiple projects will be leveraged to ensure the broadest exposure to and participation in project development, quality, scope, time, cost, resources, communications, risk, and integration management.
