- An Assisted Living Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care to residents in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community, under the supervision the Health Services Director (HSD) or a Registered Nurse, and as prescribed by the physician, by following the care plan, administering medications and treatments.
- Reports resident response to nursing interventions and informs Health Services Director (HSD) of observations.
- Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs and observes skin, cognitive functioning, and behaviors to detect deviations from baseline and report on the condition of residents.
- Partners with the Health Services Director to ensure that resident care needs are met by coordinating services with outside providers and professionals.
- Must have a current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in state of practice, or the ability to obtain one before practicing in the state.
