- Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary Washington University in St. Louis seeks an experienced attorney for the position of Assistant Vice Chancellor and Associate General Counsel, Research (AGC).
- The AGCâTMs primary responsibility is to provide legal support, advice, and counsel to the universityâTMs Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) and the university research enterprise.
- In addition to the OVCR, the AGC advises key stakeholders including Deans, Department Chairs, Clinical Leadership, and principal investigators.
- They also support teams in the Human Research Protection Office, Institutional Review Board, Office of Research Integrity and Ethics, Joint Research Office of Contracts, Sponsored Projects Accounting, Office of Sponsored Research Services, conflicts of interest programs, and the HIPAA Privacy Office.
- The AGC works collaboratively with other members of the Office of Vice Chancellor and General Counsel as necessary to ensure the delivery of prompt and informed legal services.
