- Helps Transportation Manager ensures all the routes occur as scheduled by solving any issues that arise for coverage, arranging for maintenance/repairs of PSD vehicles and communicating with families or school districts.
- Knowledge of principles and methods of transporting students in a safe and efficient manner and as per the Philadelphia School District regulations and other applicable Intermediate Unit/Agency requirements.
- Knowledge of all legal qualifications and requirements for CDL licensure and be aware of all State and Federal school bus transportation safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to or willingness to learn American Sign Language (ASL).
- Direct activities relating to dispatching, routing and tracking all PSD and all outside PSD school district vehicles per contract
