- Position Details Position DescriptionThe Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) at the University of Washington (UW) seeks candidates for tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
- Opportunities are available for research directions that involve developing and implementing preclinical nonhuman primate models and/or single cell techniques.
- This position in the DLMP aligns with unique resources available at the Washington National Primate Research Center (WaNPRC), one of only seven such NIH-supported centers established in 1959 to provide specialized resources and expertise to carry out preclinical and translational research impacting human health.
- Applicants with a research program employing nonhuman primate models could have the opportunity to be considered for a joint appointment as core faculty at WaNPRC.The DLMP will provide ample support to the candidate, including generous start-up resources and renovated laboratory space, that will promote their long-term success.
