- The Assistant Professor’s teaching responsibilities are assigned by the academic department head and may include serving as an academic advisor.
- Responsibilities include teaching courses in composition, both in face-to-face and online modalities, academic advising, research mentoring, and commitment to working with student and community populations.
- Ph. D. in English or doctorate in a closely related field with emphasis and/or experience in Rhetoric and Composition by August 15, 2024; evidence of successful college/university teaching of general education writing courses; minimum of 3 years in an administrative leadership role; evidence of an active research agenda; and experience mentoring writing faculty.
