- Assistant Professor Educators hired into this role will have primary responsibility for teaching and advising Co-op students from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) in creative professional development and career readiness.
- While roles and responsibilities are subject to shift based on enrollment and programmatic needs, it is expected that faculty hired into this role will have primary teaching and advising responsibility for Industrial Design students in the Myron E. Ullman Jr. School of Design.
- Assistant Professor Educators within the DAAP Co-op Unit may engage in some classroom instruction, but the majority of instruction and assessment of learning is conducted through individual or small-group advising.
- Appointment InformationAssistant Professor Educators hired through this posting will join the DAAP Cooperative Education (Co-op) Unit. Assistant Professor Educators for DAAP Co-op are initially hired into a multi-year contract.
- Promotion, Tenure (RPT): This initial multi-year appointment may be renewed under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Unit (CBA), provided one’s performance satisfies the criteria of the college’s guidelines for reappointment, program need, available budget, and upon approval by the Provost.
