- A. Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of experience in railroad track construction, 2+ years in a supervisory/management role highly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesComprehensive knowledge of track structure, construction and maintenance, and identifyingtrack defectsMust be able to operate, and train others how to operate a backhoe and front end loaderMust have keen attention to detailSuperior communication skills; Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under minimal supervision.
