- Under supervision, performs complex comprehensive architectural and engineering review of building construction plans for structural integrity and code compliance; participates in overseeing building activity to ensure public safety and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Receives general direction from the City's Building Official and/or higher level personnel.
- Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Civil or Structural Engineer issued by the State Board for Professional Engineers
- APPOINTMENT - At the time of appointment all candidates will be required to execute an oath of allegiance and complete Form I-9 - Employment Eligibility Verification in compliance with the Immigration and Naturalization Act. United States citizenship is not required.
- Administrative Leave - Management/Mid-Management positions receive 80 hours per calendar year, and specified professional/technical positions receive 40 hours per fiscal year (Pro-Rated).
