- PURPOSE OF JOB : To assist the Director of Pre-K Programs in providing effective leadership and supervision of Pre-Kindergarten programs in all areas of program responsibilities, ensuring high quality expanding instructional programming for children and families.
- The Assistant Director of Pre-K Programs assists in directing pre-kindergarten programs and services, achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining compliance with established guidelines.
- Assists Pre-K Programs Director in supervising, evaluating, observing and supporting Pre-K Program staff as assigned, ensuring communication and collaboration with school and district leadership toward program goals
- Assists in effective instructional systems, quality implementation of curriculum, instruction, assessment cycles and professional learning communities
- Coordinates data driven developmentally appropriate differentiation, RTI, participates on comprehensive student support teams, to ensure appropriate services and interventions provided
