- Assumes responsibility for safety supervisor services within the Safety Department to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of general operations, with a primary focus on compliance documentation.
- Acts as a key contributor to the success of VTC's safety initiatives, actively supporting, facilitating, administrating, coordinating, and evaluating employee safety measures.
- Track roadside inspections, violations, and citations with CSA points imposed, staying abreast of all FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations, and communicating updates to the company and drivers.
- In addition, collaborate with the Safety & Compliance Director to reduce violations and prevent out-of-service situations.
- An Assistant Safety Director should possess a range of knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively contribute to the safety and compliance functions within an organization.
