- Established in 1985, the Graduate School offers 24 doctoral, 65 master’s degree programs, and more than 50 graduate certificate programs in a wide variety of fields and specialties ranging from architecture, biomedical engineering, computing, engineering, and health administration to history, teacher education, creative writing, business, nursing and social work.
- Primary Purpose of Position The Assistant Director of Recruitment will lead and support efforts to grow the international graduate and undergraduate student populations at UNC Charlotte.
- The primary role of this position will be to assist in the development and execution of a multi-year international enrollment management plan proposal in addition to a host of support services that will assist in the development of partnerships, connections and pipelines between UNC Charlotte colleges/faculty and entities from abroad (institutions, organizations and sponsors).
- This individual will also understand recruitment trends, market characteristics/intelligence and emerging regions best positioned to send degree seeking graduate students to the U.S. Significant partnership with the International Student and Scholars Office, Undergraduate Admissions, and Graduate Program constituents is required.
- Additionally, the person is responsible for engaging with faculty and administrative staff both a UNC Charlotte as well as at universities in the U.S. to develop collaborative partnerships to help recruit and enroll a diverse group of graduate students.
