- Position Summary and Duties The Assistant Director of Learning Support is a forward-thinking professional with knowledge of tutoring, academic support programs, academic coaching, and functions associated with the areas, including but not limited to academic interventions, executive functioning skills, and multilingual student support.
- This involves hiring, training, mentoring, and paying student tutors every semester while partnering with faculty and other campus partners such as The Writing Center.
- Coordinate learning support efforts with Student Athlete Support Services, Disability and Accessibility Services, The Writing Center, Loyola Notre-Dame Library, the Language Learning Center, and resource spaces dedicated to quantitative literacy.
- Contribute to institutional effectiveness reporting.
- 1-3 years work-related experience in academic support services (inclusive of part-time positions held during undergraduate and/or graduate study).
