- The Institute on Development and Disability (IDD) at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities.
- The IDD performs research and care to support every patient, from premature babies to older adults, facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions.
- The person may also participate in follow-up services for CDRC autism patients, for example the Autism Parent Training Program, AAC evaluation/management, behavioral management, etc., depending upon discipline, interest, and expertise.
- Research (20%-45%; dependent on extramural funding): The person in this position will be expected to contribute to research emphasizing Autism and related disorders, both as an independent investigator and with colleagues within and outside the Department of Pediatrics (e.g., Psychiatry, Behavioral Neuroscience, Molecular and Medical Genetics).
- S/he will collaborate with the CDRC Director of Ambulatory Care, the CDRC Practice Manager, IDDD Discipline Directors, and others to ensure effective and efficient clinical operations consistent with expectations established for the Institute.
