- Description The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at theUniversity of Washington in Seattle is recruiting for one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professorwithouttenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience,to join the department withan anticipated start date of July 1, 2024.
- The Cardiothoracic Imaging section currently has eight faculty members with a range of expertise in pulmonary and cardiac imaging and provides pulmonary, vascular, cardiac CT and MR diagnostic interpretations.
- The section maintains close relationships with internal medicine, pulmonology, oncology, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, and cardiac and thoracic surgery services at all hospital sites; the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake and Northwest campuses, Harborview Medical Center, and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
- The University of Washington (UW) is a leading referral center for interstitial lung diseases, lung transplantation, thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, structural and congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology and hematology.
- Cardiothoracic Imaging conducts conferences for inpatient internal medicine services, pulmonary medicine, interventional cardiology, oncology, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute, a premier transplantation center.
