- The AOD Clinician and Prevention Specialist is a new role within University Health Services, providing expertise across the intersections of well-being, mental health and alcohol and substance use.
- The AOD Clinician and Prevention Specialist will provide direct clinical services to our undergraduate and graduate student population and contribute to AOD harm reduction efforts out of HPPS.
- The AOD Clinician and Prevention Specialist will serve as a liaison between CPS, Medical Services and HPPS on AOD harm reduction and treatment.
- Utilizes software systems, including Medicat, PeopleSoft, a BASICS Feedback Survey tool, and Microsoft Outlook and Excel, to manage referrals to and from BASICS as well as scheduling and the online assessment students complete as part of BASICSCollaborates closely with colleagues across University Health Services and from across campus, including the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students and Graduate Student Affairs, to receive referrals and educate campus partners about BASICS
- Works with HPPS to engage in evidence-informed campus outreach and community education with a particular focus on AOD harm reduction
