As an Air Force Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Sales Engineer, you will be a critical member of the Persistent Systems Air Force Sales team, working closely with Account and Business Development leads to solve our customer’s most difficult mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) problems.. You will serve as the technical lead and subject-matter expert in the development of MANET architectures for the Sentinel ICBM system and be responsible for all technical aspects of Wave Relay® MANET solutions offered to our customers.. Partner with the Sales team to develop requirements documents, presentations, proposals, and ROI models, and coordinate with a team of support specialists, consultants, or project managers to execute sales objectives or to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned. Job Description & Responsibilities:
Persistent Systems is seeking an Air Force Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Sales Engineer.  As an Air Force Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Sales Engineer, you will be a critical member of the Persistent Systems Air Force Sales team, working closely with Account and Business Development leads to solve our customer’s most difficult mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) problems. You will serve as the technical lead and subject-matter expert in the development of MANET architectures for the Sentinel ICBM system and be responsible for all technical aspects of Wave Relay® MANET solutions offered to our customers. You will also play a pivotal role in communicating technical challenges to our engineering department, helping to shape future product development with your insight into customer challenges and market needs.  The Air Force Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Sales Engineer will work from the Fort Collins, CO office. Position Responsibilities<ul><li style="color: #333333;">Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and create winning sales strategies with technical and mathematical expertise</li><li style="color: #333333;">Contribute to Sales Engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues: provide information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommend options and courses of actions; implement directives</li><li style="color: #333333;">Develop long-term customer relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements</li><li style="color: #333333;">Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education</li><li style="color: #333333;">Design technical solutions to meet prospect's business, technical, and/or financial goals</li><li style="color: #333333;">Support and respond, in an effective and timely manner, on RFI / RFPs</li><li style="color: #333333;">Design, conduct and document technical demonstrations, including customer events and exercises</li><li style="color: #333333;">Partner with the Sales team to develop requirements documents, presentations, proposals, and ROI models, and coordinate with a team of support specialists, consultants, or project managers to execute sales objectives or to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned</li><li style="color: #333333;">Maintain expert knowledge of Persistent Systems products to develop and present unique solutions, and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in technology and online advertising</li><li style="color: #333333;">Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering by providing feedback from information gathered during pre-sales projects</li><li style="color: #333333;">Provide guidance and requirements for customers including RF antenna solutions, physical interfaces and custom installation that meet customer requirements</li><li style="color: #333333;">Develop customer and internal staff by providing technical information and training</li><li style="color: #333333;">Provide post-sales support service and technical backup as required</li></ul>

Job Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li style="color: #333333;">Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) </li><li style="color: #333333;">5+ years of experience in technical sales and/or field sales</li><li style="color: #333333;">Strong understanding of network concepts such as IP routing, switching and VPN architectures</li><li style="color: #333333;">Strong understanding of RF characteristics and RF engineering</li><li style="color: #333333;">Familiarization with DoD systems and subsystems (e.g., weapons platforms, C2ISR platforms, SATCOM, IFF, RADAR, radios, data links, munitions)</li><li style="color: #333333;">Knowledge of Federal, State & Local customers and contracting methods</li><li style="color: #333333;">Experience in conceptualizing, developing and presenting technical presentations to large groups of customers</li><li style="color: #333333;">Experience analyzing network applications for communications systems. (Familiar with network architecture and analyses)</li><li style="color: #333333;">Must be willing and able to travel 60% of the time</li><li style="color: #333333;">Must have a US Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li style="color: #333333;">At least 5+ years’ experience in sales engineering or consulting</li><li style="color: #333333;">Prior work experience with large defense contractors</li><li style="color: #333333;">Master’s degree in in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)</li><li style="color: #333333;">Membership or participation in a technically recognized organization (ie IEEE, IETF)</li></ul> The pay for this role can vary from $120,000 to $140,000 a year based on the selected individual's education and experience.
