- Job Description The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network Campaign Manager works within the Department of State's Bureau of African Affairs' Office of Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and is responsible for planning and coordinating digital marketing and advocacy campaigns that support U.S. public diplomacy engagement with Africans between the ages of 18-35.
- The Campaign Manager reports to the YALI Coordinator through the YALI Network Program Manager and coordinates their work with the Social Media and Content Manager and the Project Manager to develop a cohesive annual campaign strategy made up of several multi-component thematic campaigns linked to U.S. foreign policy objectives.
- The Campaign Manager liaises with team members at U.S. embassies in Africa, various State Department and interagency colleagues, and directly with members of the YALI Network.
- Develops campaign plans in alignment with the Youth Network overall content strategy (courses, campaigns, social media) for clearance and approval by Network Manager and YALI Coordinator.
- Reports will receive final clearance from the YALI Coordinator and the Campaign Manager will be responsible for cataloging and maintaining report records.
