- Support the SRNS Nuclear & Criticality Safety Engineering (N&CSE) organization in the development of nuclear safety calculations and documentation for various facilities at the Savannah River Site (SRS) as an expert in atmospheric transport and dispersion analysis for radiological and toxic chemical consequence evaluations of accident release scenarios to provide support to the Analytical Support group on an as-needed basis.
- There is a particular need for experience in performing software quality assurance and running atmospheric transport modeling and simulation software, specifically MACCS2 and GENII.
- Experience in source term calculations and additional atmospheric transport modeling and simulation software (e.g., AXAIR)
- Experience in source term calculations and additional atmospheric transport modeling and simulation software (e.g., AXAIR) would be preferred.
- Develop accident analyses for liquid and solid waste radiological release events.
