- The Associate Program Director will have approximately 40% dedicated to teaching and residency related activities and approximately 60% time providing psychiatric care at the Central County Mental Health Clinic, located in San Mateo, California, working with adult BHRS clients with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
- BHRS uses evidence-based treatment approaches in our system of care services, while seeking continuing improvement and development in the areas of cultural competence, integrated services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems, and supportive housing.
- In addition to the psychiatry residency program, there may be opportunities to participate in educational activities related to the Stanford University-San Mateo County Community Child Psychiatry Fellowship, UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship, and the BHRS Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship.
