- The Human Resources Department develops, implements and maintains programs and processes that add value to the City of Troy and to our workplace, leading to improved employee welfare, empowerment, growth and retention, thereby solidifying the City of Troy's position as an employer of choice.
- Human Resources recruits and hires employees; administers benefits, safety and wellness programs and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; oversees performance management, compensation plans, labor negotiations and personnel-related compliance activities.
- Perform data entry; create, modify, and proofread electronic and paper documents where accuracy is critical.
- Support the Human Resources Director in performing administrative and/or technical work.
- Five (5) years of advanced secretarial/administrative experience OR three (3) years of advanced secretarial/ administrative experience plus two (2) years of college coursework in Business, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
