- Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking an Engineer focused on Polymer Additive Manufacturing for the Advanced Engineering Division.
- Specifically sought-after skills include using microfluidics or other lab-scale / pilot-scale techniques for polymer synthesis and modification alongside experience designing, synthesizing, and characterizing polymer blends and composites (particularly polymer-metal composites, which may include MOFs, or polymer-ceramic composites like MXenes).
- Alternatively, experience with functional application leveraging "Big Data" concepts, computational fluid dynamics, in situ process monitoring, or other related modelling and computational skills toward polymer synthesis and manufacturing is preferred.
- Prior experience with additive manufacturing (any/all forms), injection molding, rotational molding, and other forms of polymer manufacturing is preferred.
- PhD in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, and Mechanical Engineering.
