The geographic information system (GIS) Intern position will assist in the efforts of integrating Digital Track Notebook (DTN) rail assets into GIS. The DTN software system is what currently houses the largest array of G&W track assets in the company.
Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc. is looking for an associate Counsel who is excited to join our in-house legal team.
This position will work closely with many internal and external functions influencing the use of Genesee and Wyoming Inc.’s railcar assets.
+ A very good understanding of the rail freight industry in the United States, including its structure, operations, customers and role in the national transportation network.
Most of the focus of this position is on state governments within the western U.S., with work also at the regional and local government levels as required to fully represent the interests and objectives of the G&W affiliated railroad.
