- The Point-of-Care Testing Coordinator is responsible for the technical and / or direct supervision of the laboratory point-of-care testing program.
- MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) or equivalent certification or registration.
- Previous experience with maintaining and administering laboratory point-of-care testing programs.
- Minimum of five years experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical setting.
- This individual maintains the equipment, Policy and Procedure Manuals, and all required documentation for Point of Care Testing required by regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC).
