- Employ technical writing/editing/proofreading and graphic/document design skills to produce technically and mechanically accurate documents (100-500 page manuals) that are consistent in organization, style, tone, and format; that comply with internal style guidelines and copyright laws; and that present complex concepts in clear, organized, and visually appealing ways.
- Incorporate adult learning, instructional design, and participant-centered concepts, principles, and practices when designing courses and creating experiential activities, in both instructor-led and web-based courses.
- Technical writing/editing experience in the field of training & development (instructor-led & web-based); prior experience in publishing, graphic design, instructional design & technology, and adult education; familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style; experience using Adobe Creative Suite software, experience using web-based authoring software.
