- Coordinate and implement marketing, design, advertising, publicity, promotion, and public relations functions related to programming initiatives for the College of Fine Arts, facilitate with Communications Manager all marketing and communication needs, serving as media liaison and ensuring accuracy and timely dissemination of all media communications, provide support as necessary in management functions for events.
- Associate's degree or higher in marketing, public relations, communications, graphic design business, arts management, or related field.
- Possess understanding and appreciation for performing arts, entertainment and industry trends; detail and deadline oriented; demonstrate exceptional proficiency in oral and written communication, editing, and ability to effectively evaluate and critique graphic design work in a variety of media; ability to work with software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- At least three years of full-time experience in arts administration, facility management, sales, marketing; experience in performing arts management including fundraising and programming; supervisory experience.
- Assist the Communications Manager to plan, prepare and execute related paid advertising; execute media purchases for other university events as directed; provide marketing support and act as local media buyer as needed for facility clients.
