- Under the general supervision of the Head Cook and Food Service Director, this position assists in preparing nutritious and attractive meals for students and staff while maintaining a clean kitchen and cafeteria and observing all Health Department regulations to create a safe and healthy work environment.
- The Cook III assists the Head Cook in performing routine preparation duties and serving food; performs cleaning, dish washing, and other duties in a school kitchen.
- Ability to substitute in the Cook II or Head Cook position when they are absent.
- Operates kitchen equipment including dishwasher, slicer, mixer, etc.
- Report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards immediately to the Head Cook.
