POSITION SUMMARY As a member of the corporate process engineering group this candidate is responsible for leading and maintaining construction supervision services in support of a project, a manufacturing plant, or a particular process. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with internal departments and external organizations such as construction firms and material/equipment vendors to ensure the successful completion of the project. Activities will include the coordination and site management of workload, staffing, and third-party contractors and vendors to meet the construction project needs for successful completion. The Supervisor will be responsible for meeting budget and schedule requirements on assigned projects. Travel is virtually 100%. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees and coordinates the safe delivery of services on projects with other employees, contract personnel, and outside companies. Verify that all services and support in the area of expertise provided to capital and non-capital projects meet the need. If applicable, supervises employees, conducts performance management activities, and provides coaching and feedback. Develop accurate estimates for services (man hours, equipment, and material) relating to area of responsibility. Recognize areas of potential improvement or enhancement and recommend changes in areas identified. Interact effectively with individuals and groups at different levels. Keep all interested parties informed of matters requiring their attention. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility.
