- The Center for Gender + Sexualities Graduate Assistant collaborates with the Sexualities & Gender Diversity Programs Director, undergraduate student staff and volunteers to promote the advancement and equitable treatment of women, LGBTQIA+ students at Hamline and in the community.
- The Graduate Assistant helps to manage our center space, which operates as a space for people of all genders to get resources, facilitate programming and provide outreach on intersectional women, femme and LGBTQIA+ identity issues, including but not limited to holistic health, body image and representation, educational and professional pursuits, sexual violence prevention and survivor support and other feminist social justice issues.
- Mentor undergraduate student staff and volunteers to develop an intersectional feminist leadership skills.
- Use remaining 4 hours per week for meetings, events and networking.
- Serve as a representative on the Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force and other relevant committees as assigned by the Sexualtities and Gender Diversity Programs Director.
