- The Department of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine is recruiting faculty members at the rank of tenure-eligible Assistant Professor.
- We seek to recruit laboratory-based scientists to conduct independent and highly innovative translational research related to prostate, kidney, bladder, and other urologic cancers.
- Successful candidates will join an outstanding urology department with new initiatives to build research programs for the rapid translation of basic discoveries to the clinic.
- Candidates will be PhD, MD/PhD, or MD scientists working in the field that includes, but is not limited to, cancer genomics, epigenomics, tumor immunology, metabolism, DNA damage response, computational biology, and bioinformatics.
- The focus of the research could be in any area of the disease space, including cancer etiology, tumor growth and metastasis, biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, treatment resistance, and the development of new therapeutics.
