- Vincennes University American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Studies, located on the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a dynamic individual to teach in and chair the ASL and Deaf Studies department.
- The successful candidate will oversee the ASL campus and play a key role in recruiting program students, engaging key constituencies within the community and region, and assisting students achieve their academic goals.
- This is a twelve-month contract position with benefits that reports to the Dean of the College of Humanities.
- Oversee the ASL and Deaf Studies campus, including classroom, tutoring, residential, and office spaces.
- Master's Degree or from a regionally accredited college or university, preferably in Deaf Studies/ ASL or a related field and a minimum of 18 graduate credits in Deaf Studies/ASL Studies, ASL Linguistics or ASL as Second Language Teaching.
