- Using specialized alcohol and drug specific interventions, this position is responsible for conducting harm reduction education, coordinating care and supportive services as well as assisting nurse with testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and other sexually transmitted infections for those in active addiction, early recovery, or otherwise at high risk for infection.
- This position is responsible for building and maintaining community partnerships, facilitating educational presentations with community members and providing consultation and education to the medical and health community about infectious diseases and Harm Reduction strategies.
- OCPSA, OCPS or OCPC
- Experience working with people in an addiction or recovery setting, and working with culturally and economically diverse populations, including people of color, gay/bisexual/transgender populations, and people living with chronic disease, substance users, and persons with mental health diagnosis.
- Delivers alcohol and other drug prevention education and supportive services to student and adult populations in a variety of settings including schools and community-based correctional facilities;
