Employers in secondary smelting and alloying of aluminum melt and process recovered aluminum scrap into usable alloys for manufacturing. You’ll find roles such as furnace or casting operators, metal/chemical process technicians, quality inspectors, lab or materials testing assistants, and maintenance or equipment technicians. Work is hands-on in hot, industrial foundry environments, typically with strict safety procedures and PPE, often involving shift schedules and physically demanding tasks.
